What money does not buy
- How big is the audience?
- Smaller than it will be. The site and the newsletter are both new, so rather than quote you a number you cannot verify, we will send you the current traffic and subscriber figures if you ask. Anyone quoting you a round number this early is guessing or inflating.
- Does paying move me up the list?
- No. List order is computed from the reader's own answers and from facts about each perk: the value the vendor publishes, the stage or age at which it closes, the number of steps to claim it, and any end date. A sponsored listing sits in its own labelled slot at the top of a list and is excluded from the ranking, so readers can tell the two apart at a glance.
- What do you check before publishing?
- We read the terms on your own page in full and publish what they actually say, including the parts that limit the offer. If the page and the pitch disagree, we go with the page.
- What happens when my terms change?
- Tell us and we update the same day. We also recheck every listing weekly, and a listing whose terms no longer match gets corrected or removed without waiting for you.
- Can I buy a review or an editorial mention?
- No. Sponsored listings and the newsletter slot are the only things for sale. What we write about a tool is not.
