Up to $5,000 in Akamai Cloud credits, or $100 self serve

Read this first

Credits expire within one year of issuance and are nontransferable, with Akamai stating that transferring a promo code results in account termination. The promotion does not cover any Marketplace product or third party service offered through Akamai, so the credit applies to Akamai's own compute and delivery rather than to anything you buy through it. The one code per business rule has no published expiry, so it follows the company rather than the account.

What the terms actually say

Worth being clear about what this is, because it is not a startup programme and Akamai never calls it one. The $5,000 sits behind an enterprise lead form that asks for your department, your job title from Staff up to C-Level, your timeframe for addressing your challenge, and your organisation's monthly compute spend across all cloud providers. Those are sales qualification questions, and the page says only "see if your enterprise qualifies" without publishing a single criterion, so whether you get $5,000 or nothing is a judgement Akamai makes about your spend rather than a bar you can read and meet. Submitting also requires consenting to marketing contact. The second offer on the same page is the one most small teams will actually get: $100 of credit on a new account, self serve and instant, with no form and no review. The redemption rules bind both and carry the real catch: one promo code per business ever, so taking the $100 today permanently forecloses the $5,000.

Who can claim it, in Akamai's words

No eligibility criteria are published for the $5,000 offer beyond "see if your enterprise qualifies", and the form's questions suggest cloud spend is what decides it. The redemption rules do publish one hard bar that applies to both offers: a business that has ever redeemed an Akamai promo code cannot redeem another.

What you get without this

Akamai Cloud publishes pay as you go pricing with no ongoing free tier. The $100 new account credit on this same page is the public offer, self serve and valid for 60 days, which is what you get by walking up without the enterprise form.

We list a perk because it beats walking up to the vendor unannounced. If it ever stops doing that, it comes off the index.
