Credits over twelve months, amount not published
Read this first
The credits run for twelve months and the support benefit for fifteen, so the two do not expire together. The amount is only revealed on acceptance, which makes this hard to plan a budget around.

What the terms actually say
DigitalOcean does not publish the credit amount. The page says it varies, and the FAQ mentions a general limit of ten thousand dollars a month, which is a ceiling on burn rather than a grant. What is unusually clear is the door: you can apply without a partner by selecting "Other" when asked which organisation you are affiliated with, which most programmes of this size do not allow. Two exclusions are stated plainly. Service based startups are ineligible, and AI native companies are prioritised, so an agency will not get in and a consultancy should not spend the time.
Who can claim it, in DigitalOcean's words
Raised ten million dollars or less, a company website, and a registered DigitalOcean team account on an email at that domain. Service based startups are excluded. AI native startups are prioritised.
What you get without this
DigitalOcean's standard pay as you go pricing, plus whatever introductory trial credit is running at the time.
We list a perk because it beats walking up to the vendor unannounced. If it ever stops doing that, it comes off the index.
