Closes at Series BTerms read on 9 Aug 2026

Six months free, up to two years through a partner

Read this first

With no partner affiliation the term is six months, whatever the two year headline suggests. Zendesk also reserves the right to revoke the free term if the company turns out not to meet the criteria, so the employee count and funding answers matter.

What the terms actually say

Zendesk is unusually direct about the tiering. Six months is the baseline for every accepted startup, and that is what you get if you have no partner. The one and two year terms are tied to Zendesk's VC and accelerator partnerships, and the page says the length depends on the depth of their relationship with your investor network as well as your team size and funding stage. The programme covers the Resolution Platform for up to fifty agents. Bootstrapped companies are explicitly welcome, which is rare among the offers on this shelf, but they land on the six month tier.

Who can claim it, in Zendesk's words

A brand new Zendesk subscriber, fewer than 250 employees, under ten years old, and no more than Series B in venture funding. Between 50 and 249 employees you must be referred by a partner. Previous or active paid customers cannot take part.

What you get without this

A standard Zendesk trial followed by list pricing per agent.

We list a perk because it beats walking up to the vendor unannounced. If it ever stops doing that, it comes off the index.
