The card on file is the thing to watch. After twelve months the project moves onto the paid Growth plan at $15 per seat per month unless you downgrade to the Free plan before the year is up, and the plan change is not something Sanity asks you to reconfirm. Growth also bills pay as you go above its included quotas, so the renewal is not capped at the seat rate.

What the terms actually say
A year of the Growth plan rather than a credit balance, and Sanity prices the benefit itself at $9k, which is the fifty seat cap multiplied by the $15 per seat monthly rate across twelve months. Very few teams under twenty employees will get near that number, so the realistic value is closer to your actual seat count. The part that decides whether you can claim this at all is not the eligibility list: the programme has no public application form and runs entirely through partner networks, so the offer reaches you as a coupon code from your VC or incubator or it does not reach you. Who can claim it, in Sanity's words
Fewer than twenty employees, under $5M raised in total funding, and not already a paying Sanity customer. Access is through a partner VC, accelerator or incubator rather than a direct application, so an eligible company with no partner link has no published route in.

Sanity's Free plan, described as $0 forever, which covers up to twenty user seats, two public datasets and two permission roles with unlimited content types and locales. The gap Growth fills is private datasets, more roles and higher quotas rather than seat count.
