Up to 6 months off Basic or Business
Read this first
Six months is the ceiling and Linear says "up to", without publishing what decides the length. If you do not qualify, the free plan is not a token: it covers unlimited members and two hundred and fifty issues, which is more than most teams need in the first months.

What the terms actually say
Up to six months off the Basic or Business plan, and the whole thing turns on a partner code. Linear is unusually direct that there is no independent route: either your investor or accelerator is on their partner list, or you are not eligible. If they are not on it you can ask them to apply to join, which is a slower path but a real one. Fewer than fifty employees, and you cannot already be paying. Redemption has to be done by a workspace admin, so the founder who applies needs to be the one who owns the workspace or hand the code over.
Who can claim it, in Linear's words
Affiliated with an official Linear partner, fewer than fifty employees, and not currently a paying Linear customer. No funding stage requirement is stated.
What you get without this
Linear's free plan, with unlimited workspace members, core features and a limit of two hundred and fifty issues.
We list a perk because it beats walking up to the vendor unannounced. If it ever stops doing that, it comes off the index.
